Samsung Galaxy GIO...everything you need to know...

Hey guys, what's up?

I bought in may/2013, a smartphone, and my reliable choice was Samsung Galaxy Gio. When i say reliable, it's about cost and phone potentialities.

And yeah... i have been searching and wondering everywhere over google, and i found some nice stuff:

Unbricking your phone:

First of, what is brick? Brick, it's when you, somehow, corrupt kernel phone files, in other words, you make your phone useless

Download Odin.exe
Download GioPro v1.6.tar 
Download Gio v1.6.ops

1. Open ODIN and Click OPS button and select and load: Gio_v1.0.ops
2. Click on BOOT button and select GioPro_v1_2.tar
3. Turn the Samsung Galaxy Gio into Download mode by pressing ( Volume Down + OK + Power ) together.
4. Connect Cable phone to pc and make sure that the program detect the phone. 
5. Click Start button on ODIN. If all set and ready wait until the program will finished downloading files. 

A word PASS! will appear if the flashing successfully completes. 

And yes, it works properly, coz i have already...bricked my phone, anyway =)


Rooting:

When you try to install something that you found over the internet, your phone deny access, so you need to Root your phone.

1. Insert updater.zip into your phone (outside any folder)
2. Shutdown your phone and Log it in by pressing ( Ok + Power )
3. Update files from updater.zip
4. Voilla!! =D

Unlocking

What crap is this? Another thing that people invented.... kind of. This phone isn't simlock, meaning = it only work with 1 operator, like: Vodafone. If you have bought a phone that is different from your SIM operator, so this is your answer:

Method 2 that is shown, is the most reliable.


Adobe Flash Player

Actually, some people wondered how could they watch some videos besides youtube program already installed, play facebook games, etc... Now here is a solution.

Download the program here: http://www.mobiles24.com/downloads/s/463736-m1374-adobe_flash_player_11

Use phone cable and connect it to your pc, and install it next. For further problems, always update Flash player.

I tested and it doesn't work, i'm still finding a way to make it play.
